Law and Economics is one of the most rapidly growing fields in legal and economic research in Asia and in many other parts of the world.
Asian Law and Economics Association (AsLEA) was established in 2005. Its inaugural conference was held at Seoul National University School of Law in Seoul, Korea. Since then the AsLEA Conference has been held annually at various sites throughout Asia.
AsLEA has also been publishing its journal, entitled “Asian Journal of Law and Economics” since 2010.
